"The site looks good at first, but actually..."
The site looks good at first, but actually using it was frustrating. I had to dig around for basic info, and a few pages were slow or just confusing. Checkout worked in the end, but by that point I’d already lost a lot of trust in the whole experience. It’s not a terrible site, but it definitely needs to be smoother if they want people to feel confident using it.
"Left more mess than freshness"
I ordered from Aera hoping it would make my house smell fresh. It did not go that way. The cartridge leaked a little when I opened it. Then the inside of the unit got sticky.
I had to wipe down the table right away. I also had to wash my hands. For something made for the home, it felt messy. Not clean. I would not buy it again.

"I got charged earlier than I..."
I got charged earlier than I thought I would, and it threw me off more than I expected. The invoice wasn’t very clear either, so I had to stop what I was doing and try to figure out what was going on, which was just unnecessary stress. Support did get back to me, but it took a little while. The product itself is fine, I just really wish the billing side was simpler and less confusing...

"Quiet enough for everyday use"
Overall, I’m happy with it. On the low setting, it’s quiet enough that I barely notice it, even when it’s running in the living room. The higher speed is a little louder than I expected, but it’s still totally manageable. I’m giving it 4 stars because I do think night mode could be a bit quieter, but otherwise it does the job well.

"Good build, but the little gap is annoying"
The aeraforhome unit feels sturdy and well made overall. The plastic doesn’t have that cheap, flimsy feel, which I was glad to see. That said, one side panel had a tiny gap, and I noticed it right away, which was a bit irritating. It’s not a huge deal and I don’t feel like waiting around to deal with a replacement or anything, so I’m keeping it. Overall, I’m happy with the build quality.

"I probably won’t buy it again"
I probably won’t order this again. For the price, I expected a lot more variety in the fragrance options, but most of the scents either felt kind of similar or just weren’t really my style. I got bored with them quickly, which was disappointing because I was hoping to find a few favorites

"Capsules run out way too fast"
I bought the Aera thinking the capsules would last a decent amount of time, but mine ran out way faster than I expected. I wasn’t blasting it nonstop or using it in a huge space, just normal use in a small room.
For what these cost, it feels frustrating. Having to replace the capsules this often makes the whole thing feel way too expensive to keep up with.
Maybe other people are getting better results, but I’m really disappointed. If this is how it’s going to be, I’m probably done with Aera and switching to something else. 1 star from me.

"In my opinion, this works pretty..."
In my opinion, this works well overall. The scent has been fairly consistent for me, which I appreciate, and I haven’t really had any major issues with it
"Decent diffuser, if the app decides to work"
I mean, the diffuser itself seems fine when it’s actually running, so I’ll give it that. But the app is frustrating. It randomly disconnects, only finds the device about half the time, and I keep having to reset everything just to use it. It could be a nice product, maybe, but the connection issues make it way more annoying than it should be.

Not gonna lie, I really wanted to like this, but the scents just felt a little flat to me. It smelled okay on the first day, but after that it got kind of weird and way too sweet. It’s not terrible or anything, I just don’t think it’s worth the price

"Looks good. Bigger than I thought."
Got this mostly because I didn’t want some ugly purifier sitting out. The Aera actually looks nice. Clean. Simple. Blends in with my room well. Setup was easy too. No hassle. It is a little bigger than I expected though, so I had to move a few things around to find a good spot. Still, happy with it overall.

"The scent is actually nice..."
The scent is actually nice and not too strong, but after using it for a few days, my sneezing definitely picked up. Compared to a few other products I’ve used, this one seemed to bother my allergies more, so it’s probably not the best fit for me.

"Setup was way more frustrating than it should've been"
Getting this set up took forever. The app just wouldn’t connect properly, and dealing with support made it even more annoying because it felt like they were just copy-pasting the same generic steps at me instead of actually helping.

"Feels like I’m stuck with barely any scent"
I was really hoping this would have a noticeable smell, but it’s so faint I can barely tell it’s there. I kept trying to convince myself it would get stronger, but it just feels like I’m trapped with something that doesn’t really do what I bought it for.

"I do like the diffuser itself..."
I do like the diffuser itself, so I’m not sitting here dramatically upset or anything, obviously completely calm. But the subscription settings felt more complicated than they needed to be. I just wanted to skip a month and switch up my scents, and somehow that turned into way more clicking around than I expected.
Pausing or canceling also felt kind of tucked away, which was... fine, sure, totally fine. Support did get back to me, so that helped, but I really wish it was easier to handle on my own. It’s not a disaster, just one of those mildly annoying things that makes you sigh a little

"Customer service left me feeling stuck"
I had a problem with my order getting help was way more frustrating than it should’ve been. The replies felt generic, like nobody was really reading what I wrote, and I had to keep repeating the same details. At one point I just felt trapped in the back-and-forth, waiting for someone to actually fix it. It did get resolved eventually, but the whole process was tiring and annoying. Not terrible, just not a great experience.

"Box showed up beat up"
My order arrived with the box badly damaged, which was disappointing to see right away. I’m not sure what happened during shipping, but the packaging definitely didn’t hold up well. I’d appreciate it if the company could make this right somehow, whether that’s a refund, replacement, or some kind of compensation

"Warranty support took way longer than expected"
I had a problem with my Aera and ended up reaching out about the warranty. The website made it seem like the process would be straightforward, but once I actually contacted support, it felt a lot more confusing and slow. Replies took forever, and I wasn’t always sure what was going on. They did end up helping me in the end, but it felt like pulling teeth to get there

the scheduling was way more frustrating than it needed to be, I picked a time and then somehow got moved around and the site never really made it clear what was actually confirmed, so I kept checking my emails over and over and still wasn’t totally sure what was booked, which was just annoying for something that should’ve been simple.

I was kind of confused by how expensive this was. I kept looking for what made it worth the price, but i just didn’t see it. For me, it’s way too pricey for what you get...
